Video Post
Family picture from on top of the mountains in Vail. We weren't planning on going up the gondola when we left the hotel, so we improvised when the weather turned cool!
Since I didn't include any videos last post (and was yelled at), here are a few from the last couple of weeks. All of our vacation videos are ridiculous, so I won't be posting any of those. I am venturing out and posting one that you can hear me talking on. I really hate this kind, but Dave's cute so I'm going to suck it up!

Bath time at (almost) 8 months. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZxVAZ5svDg
And finally, Dave crawling around and being loud.

I can't believe Dave will be 8 months old tomorrow! He's growing up so fast.
This weekend we're all headed down to Evansville to hang out with my family and go to my grandpa's family reunion (Dave better prepare himself!). Hope you're having a great week!

We're back from Vail!
Well, we made it back from vacation, reluctantly of course. Everything went very well with Dave (minus a few nights of sleeping). It is a lot of work to take a baby on vacation though! We're really busy now that we're back, so I'm going to keep this short and heavy on the pictures.
Dave hanging out on a cool art project featuring pine trees cut in half. This was in Vail at the Betty Ford Gardens.
Dave and I at Piney Lake. Josh, Dave, and I took a drive up a mountain one day at discovered this. Totally worth the drive!
Family picture in Breckenridge. It had really great views of the mountains.
Dave on his first gondola ride. This was the one in Breckenridge on the way up to an amusement park type place. Josh went down a cool alpine slide while we were up there. And Dave refused to eat for about 2 straight hours. Not my favorite part!
This is taken from Rocky Mountain National Park. We drove up to Estes Park before heading down to Vail after we landed in Denver. Probably my favorite spot in all of Colorado (this is where Josh and I honeymooned). Only drawback to this was Dave got horrible altitude/motion sick during the drive through the park. We're talking projectile vomiting here. Poor guy. No worries though, he took it like a champ.
Don't worry this was after he was sick and was feeling better, ha!
On top of Vail Mountain.
We drove past this cool ghost town-Gilman, Colorado.
Long like to Lost Lake.
We're in the process of getting Dave's night routine under control. It's going pretty well, we've gotten him to go to bed much earlier. However, we're trying this in the middle of him cutting more teeth so it's been a little rough. I'll update on how it's going next time!

Pictures galore!
Well, we're one short work day until vacation starts! It is definitely needed, all of us are getting tired. Josh gets up early every day for the cottage and Dave hasn't been sleeping well at night which means we're both up. I think he's getting either his bottom canines or his two top teeth. He's not showing them off anymore, which makes it hard to see what's up.
Otherwise he's been doing very well. He has learned how to eat his puffs (kind of like cheerios for babies, just more expensive since it's for babies). This is good because I'm tired of hand feeding them to him! He's transferring himself from one thing to another a lot better, so walking is that much closer.
And, we finally got his 6 month pictures done at Sears. They turned out really cute and he was much more cooperative this time.
This is the one we ordered.
Here he is in his Sunday outfit courtesy of Gamma (my mom).
I love the rolled up sleeves look.
This is an outfit that Josh's mom saved for him-it's over 27 years old! I can't believe how well it held up. It's so cute and retro. Also, you can see in this picture that Dave's beloved face rash is back. Thanks teething.
I put Dave on his float like this as a Joke thinking he would want to roll over immediately. Nope, he relaxed like this.
And then Cousin Sophie busted up his relaxing. Check out his scowl. She was probably trying to steal his raft. They absolutely love to take things from each other.
All of Josh's family got together for the 4th. Dave is officially afraid of fireworks because he was woken up by a giant boom. And then proceeded to cry for most of the rest. Sophie, on the other hand, loved the fireworks.
Here's a video of them together. Of course, they were playing and super cute and then as soon as the video camera came out, they stopped. This was the best that we got. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZMW1GGsqwM
And one of Dave with his remote. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPkCtJfoHqU
I'll miss next week's post, but will get one done as soon as we get back from Colorado!
