End of the School Year and 6th Grade Graduation

The kids had a great end to their school year. Hard to believe we will have a kid in junior high and one in 4th grade soon!

At the end of the year I helped with the carnival at school where the kids get to use the points they earn throughout the year by reading. 

Dave came by to see me. 

And so did this boy!

Dave had a concert for band, he did a great job with all the percussion instruments!

Dave also had 6th grade graduation which was basically just all the moms crying as they watch their babies grow up!

The next day was the last day of school for the boys. 

Later that week the Smith kids came up to hang out for a while. 

And then summer officially started! I have lots more to blog about from our summer adventures :)

 

Conner Prairie with Ike, Moving, Etc.

The beginning of May was so busy for us! Wrapping up with Ike's wrestling and school ending, plus we moved! And Dave graduated from 6th grade-lots going on!

Dave needed a good recent picture for his graduation, so we did a photoshoot down by the creek at the new house. 

I chaperoned Ike's school trip to Conner Prairie. It was not the best day to go but we had so much fun together! I had never been either so it was a fun new experience for both of us. 

In between moving and packing we did some mushroom hunting in early May. We found enough to share a bit!

The boy cousins came over to hang out for a while, they always have so much fun together. 

And as advertised, we spent a lot of time moving, but I didn't get many pictures of that!

Here's the new game room set up. It's pretty awesome for them!

Dave went down to Indy with Josh's mom to watch Sophie's orchestra concert. She plays the violin, and he had a great time!
