Holy moly, time is flying by! I can't believe he's only 5 short months from his 1st birthday. Pardon me while I cry myself into oblivion.
Cuteness! I am having to become more and more creative to get him to sit still and not destroy his monthly sign. This was a close call.
He loves showing off his teeth.
The weather has been gorgeous up here the last couple of days so we headed over to Josh's parents to hang out and swim. (Well, Josh spent a few hours golfing of course :) )
Hanging out on the deck. His new favorite pastime is eating leaves he finds. And then puking them up. He is getting hard to watch!
LOVES the water. I think we have a little fishy on our hands! And don't worry, I was in the pool with him!
Work is going well, we're still adjusting to the new cottage, but overall it has been a very easy transition. We leave for vacation in 10 short days! We're heading to Vail, Colorado with Josh's parents and sister so it should be a blast. Can't wait!
And here's the video for the week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpTTkn1C9Nc
He sure does like to growl!

We have teeth!
Well, we moved into our new place and started working with our new cottage. It's going very well so far.
My mom came up and helped us as we got everything situated and unpacked (almost done) and she spent much needed quality time with Dave.
Here's Dave in the process of standing up. He does this about a hundred times a day now.
If you enlarge this picture you can see his new pearly whites!
Dave had a visit with his pediatrician yesterday. He is now 27 inches and weighs 15.7 pounds. That puts him at average for height and underweight. Apparently he has a very high metabolism coupled with a high activity level for his age. She told us not to worry and keep doing what we're doing. And she was very impressed at how advanced he is. Needless to say, we're very proud parents!
Alright, here are the videos:

Bowyers on the move!
Exciting news-we're moving cottages! Josh and I have been really talking about what we're going to do once Dave starts walking (which, as you'll see could be VERY soon). See, we live in a two story cottage right now, which is becoming increasingly difficult with little guy right now.
So, we talked to our boss when an opening came up, and we will be moving to cottage 1-which is the same age boys as we have now, but they all work within a drug program.
In other news, Tony came up to visit us and go to Quaker Haven with us. We had a good time (even though it was unbearably muggy).
Since I'm not allowed to post pictures of the guys on the internet-here's Tony getting ready to climb the rock wall and go on the zipline. Pretty cool.
Dave and I at the beach. It went better than our previous beach excursion in Florida!
This past week Dave got a new toy. Loves his exersaucer!
Sometimes he gets confused about how it's supposed to be used...
And in extremely exciting news...Dave can stand up! He pulls himself up onto anything and everything. Time to babyproof!
Here are two videos of him standing around.

Quick Update
Sorry-no pictures for right now. Dave's in the middle of teething (at least we hope, still no teeth!) and I'm starting to feel sickly. Hopefully it'll pass soon. Anyway, I uploaded a couple of videos to youtube for your viewing pleasure.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTSuBnmgjbw This is what happens when I go to start a load of laundry and leave Dave unattended in the living room.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IXH561Hr7Y And we're getting close to full on crawling. Any day now...
