King's Kaleidoscope and Wordsplayed Concert, Baby Raccoons, and Playing in Puddles

At the beginning of May we finally got to see one of our favorite bands, King's Kaleidoscope in concert. We have been following them for several years and jumped on the chance to see them live. As an added bonus, Wordsplayed opened for them who we also really enjoy!

Waiting in line for the doors to open.

Early dinner at The Mug in Irvington. Great place!

King's was amazing! The venue (the Irving Theater) was really cool and they killed it. Here's a short video.

Before the concert we ran in to Wordsplayed! This is becoming a regular occurrence, I wonder who we will see next!

So. Much. Rain. But the kids have taken advantage of the puddles on multiple occasions!

Ike has become a regular four leaf clover-finder. If he looks he always finds one. Just like his momma!

Our neighbor Lisa found some baby raccoons and fostered them until they were big enough to go to a rescue home.

Oh man those babies were cute! Their claws were already pretty sharp though, so I was glad to be meeting a baby and not a grown raccoon!
