I cleaned off the pictures from Josh's phone today and found some pretty good ones that we had forgotten about. So, here are some highlights of pictures Josh texted out in 2011.
Cleaning toilets...gotta start young.
Pumped to be in Florida.
Guess he was excited to go grocery shopping.
Sliding in Evansville.
At a park somewhere.
Looking awfully chipper in the morning.

Last Weeks of May
As I have mentioned before, we spend the majority of our time outdoors lately. Here is what we've been up to the last couple of weeks.
Last Friday we went to Matter Park in Marion with Josh's mom.
Chilling in his pool.
He decided to read books to the baby one morning, too cute!
Every evening that we have off of work, we take Dave down to the pond on campus to play. He loves to throw rocks and pick out the scum with a stick and pretend to fish.
Cheesing out at the pond.
Josh and Dave checking things out.
We have been working really hard on potty training. Whenever he is "naked boy" as he puts it, he does a pretty good job. However, underwear is treated just like a diaper still, so it's definitely a work in progress.
Naked boy on his trike.
This weekend Josh's friend Dave and his wife Jess came up to visit with us. We hung out all day on Saturday, spending some of our time at the park in Wabash.
Of course his favorite activity was playing with the drinking fountain.
Josh and the Daves.
Trip to the Zoo
A couple of weeks ago we headed out to the Fort Wayne Zoo to take advantage of our membership (we'll be going quite a bit). The weather was gorgeous, and Dave had a blast.
Ringing the bell on the train.
Check out the orangutan in the window!
Taking a ride on the carousel.
Loves the giraffes, and there are two new ones at the zoo this year.
His favorite activity by far is the petting zoo. We visit at the beginning and end of our zoo trip pretty much every time. You wouldn't know that he loves it based on the pictures I get when he is petting the goats though. Kind of looks like he's being tortured.
Typical shot. Cowering away from the goats.
He usually runs up to take one swipe at them with the brush and then scampers away.
And then he also points them out for us.
Actually, he does this a lot at the zoo in general. Most of my pictures involve Dave pointing at some animal or another.
More pointing. This one is even sitting down, looks pretty docile to me!
I am pretty sure I asked Dave to say cheese for this picture, you can see how well that worked.

Dave Learned to Jump!
Here are some pictures from our week-we've been working, so it's been pretty uneventful. Thankfully, the weather has been gorgeous, so we've been hanging out with Dave outside.
He's gotten really good at pretending-he was acting like this stick was a weed-eater.
Working on his garden.
Watering my hostas. We have had to start telling Dave that the hose needs charged so we can turn it off for a while. Poor kid.
Love this face.
Well, he finally did it. The boy can now officially jump. We have been wondering when he would figure it out-he just has his own agenda I guess.
He is very proud of his new skill!
Posing for the camera.
Making sure that I follow through on my promise to play in his toy room if he jumped for the camera. In one post I admit to lying about the hose and bribing him...mom of the year!

Mother's Day 2012
We headed down to Evansville again for the weekend. My mom is part of a Rally for the Cure golf scramble, and this was the first time we had the right weekend off for Josh to participate.
On Friday, we arrived around dinner time and headed over to my grandpa's for some food.
Uncle Tony and Dave working on their golf skills.
Bubbles with Gamma.
He was really into the bubbles.
On Saturday, Dave and I hung out at Dad and Kyra's while Josh and everybody else played in the scramble.
Dave helped pick fresh strawberries (and sampled them of course!).
"Helping" Papa Charlie garden.
Kyra pulled out an awesome skidoo for Dave to ride around on in the pool.
He really mastered it after a few minutes.
We headed out early Sunday morning to meet up with Josh's family at his sister Brittany's house for a Mother's Day/Caleb's Dedication celebration lunch. I didn't get any pictures of that because we got there late due to a heavy amount of traffic-made for a long car ride!
So pretty good Mother's Day. We got to see most of our family for the weekend so that was nice. And I got to go around to actual stores while Dad and Kyra watched Dave on Saturday. A nice treat for someone who lives 45 minutes from real shopping.

Baby Bowyer 2 Update
I had a couple of requests to update about my current pregnancy, and since we just had our ultrasound, I figured now was a good time.
First of all, we are not finding out the sex-sorry everybody! I'll have to start a poll here soon so you can get to guessing. The baby measured perfect and everything looked great, hopefully smooth sailing until we get to meet him/her. I'm feeling awesome, just like the second trimester with Dave. No real cravings, though I do eat a lot of pickles and fruit (not together though!).
Also, I am feeling kicks pretty much everyday, usually several times a day. And, sometimes they are strong enough for Josh to feel them. I looked it up in my book I kept about Dave's pregnancy and I didn't feel movement until 20 weeks-Josh couldn't feel them until 21 weeks.
Here's Dave and I (and baby) at 18 weeks.
For a comparison, here's my 19 week picture with Dave. I think I'm evening out on belly growth. I definitely looked bigger with baby 2 than Dave for a while.
Here are some pictures from the ultrasound on Monday. Baby was moving around like crazy the entire time. Made the ultrasound tech's job kinda hard. We found out that baby weighs about half a pound at this point and is around the size of a sweet potato.
One of the feet.
Profile of the baby. My dad said it looked like it had a big belly! Must be stealing all my food.
And finally, here baby is waving hello to everyone. We even got a thumbs up at one point!

Soaking up Some Sun
We have had awesome weather this past week, so we've been a good portion of our time hanging out in the sunshine. Here's an overview of what we've been up to.
This one isn't sun related, but Dave enjoyed a game of catch with Josh one morning.
One of our many trips to the park this week. He insists on being pushed, "fast, not slow!".
On Friday, we headed to Logansport to visit with Josh's grandparents who have recently returned from Florida. Josh and his grandpa played golf while Dave and I visited with Grandma Mary. We hung out at the local park for about an hour, visited the baby chicks at Rural King, and then came back to their house to play with the water hose.
As usual, his clothes were wet in about a minute.
Getting sprayed by the hose.
We took dinner over to Grandma Bertie's house, where Dave had a blast playing with the cars and chasing ants around.
Big cheese.
Who knew you could eat pizza with sass?
I was finally able to upload a video! Here's Dave reading a book and getting mad that I'm recording him with Gamma's camera.
