Apple Orchard and Rainbows

A couple of Saturdays ago Josh's parents went with the kids and I to McClure's Orchard in Peru. It's so nice there with tons of stuff to do with the kids and cheap apples that you can pick yourself. It was a beautiful fall day (the nice cool weather didn't last long but it was nice for a while!) so we spent some time checking out the animals, picking apples and doing a quick horse ride.

Dave's looking a little big for some playground equipment lately!

Ready for picking.

We worked hard to fill that bag! Galas, Fujis and a couple Honeycrisps.

They are so adorable sometimes!

Ike's first horse ride.

Dave wasn't as excited.

Ike won a fish at the church carnival. It didn't even make it 24 hours, which of course was devastating for Ike. I think we are going to get him set up with a real fish tank for his bday!

Working on his fear of storms...he played outside in the rain and ran inside to tell me about this beautiful rainbow.
